Saturday:-Great News from Birmingham today at the UK AAA Junior Champs Stephen Guest not only took gold in the u15 pole vault but also in process set a new Welsh indoor record with a 3.60m clearance.
Also today a great performance from Katie Lewis who came home in 4th in the u15 60m hurdles. Sunday:-Another great day David Guest taking the gold in the under 17 long jump with a 6.79m jump having been struggling with a back injury for a few weeks,Gerwyn Morgan jumped a creditable 5.68m in the same competition.
In the u15g 200m Rachel O`Connor run a PB in the heats but didn’t qualify but gained valuable experience.
Highlight of the day again goes to the Pole Vaulters with Rhianydd Llewellyn taking silver but in the process setting a new Welsh Indoor record of 3.20m which is the fourth time this indoor season she has set a new Welsh record,well done to you all! full reults click here WA Report
