 Fabulous scenery and freezing conditions greeted the runners at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh for the Celtic Cross Country on Saturday.

After a conservative start, Zoe Thomas moved through the field to be placed 3rd after the first of 3 laps on the undulating course. A determined final lap saw her finally finish in 4th place overall, a fantastic achievement considering she has another 2 attempts in this U17's age group. Jonathan Hopkins finished in 14th place in the U17's boys race over the 4.2k course, maintaining a consistent position throughout the race.

ps seen you on Tv watching the senior mens race won`t be long you will be both in the main race if you keep it up! |
