 Well done to everyone who competed today at a very windy Yate,Bristol.
Although the combined Neath/Bridgend team did`nt do so well in the overall result we were the best dressed club and best supported also the percentage of athlete wins per number of athletes we had competing was very good.
Some of the highlights of today were:-Lucy Taylor Under 13 Girls first in the 75m and 150m,Morgan Thomas Under 13 Boys first in the Long Jump and the 1500m,Katie Lewis under 15 girls first in the 75m hurdles,Rachel O`Connor under 15 girls first in the 100m,Amy Tidball under 15 girls first in Javelin,Rachel Davies under 15 girls long jump first,Under 15 girls 4x 100m relay first (Stacey Collins,Rachel Davies,Bryony Slade,Katie Lewis),Gerwyn Morgan first in the under 15 boys Long jump and the javelin,Tom Davies first in the under 15 boys 1500m,David Guest first in the under 17 80m hurdles and the high jump,Shelley Brace first in the under 17 women 300m,4 x300m under 17 women relay first (Demi Bartlett,Sam Humphreys,Emma Williams,Grace Osborne).
A big thank you to all the helpers today Andrew,Alister,Jeremy,Jeff,Fiona and team managers Ian and Jackie and not forgetting our cheif medical officer Nurse Sage!!!!
