Apologies for the delay reporting on the conclusion of the Bridgend Junior schools XC ,there were some outstanding performances by club athletes most notably Danyaal Mohamed winning 6 out of 6 of the Year 5/6 boys races emulating the feat that Lewis Jones another club athlete also completed last year.
In an incredibly exciting and close year 5/6 girls event it was a draw between Courtley Lock and Rosa Yates who both won 3 races each both these girls are ones to watch for the future.
In the Girls year 3/4 event Kirsty Watson won the silver medal and Bethan Johnson the bronze, well done everyone and all others who also competed in the events.
Thanks to Maria Mohamed for the the "roving report role" keeping me up to date with all the results. |

David also won the Silver medal in the long jump with a leap of 7.12m in the UK u20 Champs last weekend in Bedford to cap a brilliant week!
